Book A Barber
Luxury salon floor with gold lighting

Our story

We were tired of beauty that ran on hope.

Book A Barber began in Bilaspur and Raipur after one too many “five minutes, madam” that became an hour. The platform is the apology we wanted to give Chhattisgarh: a held chair, a named artist, a payment that already happened.

Origin

From a Bilaspur wait to a marketplace.

A bridal trial ran long in a downstairs waiting room. The salon was excellent. The clock was not. That afternoon the sketch began: treat a slot as inventory — locked in a database, not on a WhatsApp screenshot.

Book A Barber is that house. We do not own the scissors. We own the promise that when a guest pays, the chair is theirs. Partner salons stay independent businesses. We give them discovery, slot capacity, Razorpay rails and payouts that land without a spreadsheet argument.

Today the map is Bilaspur and Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The ethic does not change as we grow: fewer walk-in scrambles, more considered rooms.

A slot is inventory. Treat it like silk, not like a rumour.

Mission

Make arriving on time feel luxurious.

Guests should spend the hour in the chair, not in a corridor. Salons should know who is coming, for what, and that the money already cleared.

Vision

Chhattisgarh’s most trusted beauty rails.

A network of approved houses where ratings are earned, commissions are printed in the open, and a no-show actually protects Saturday bridal.

Why guests stay

Why choose Book A Barber

Approved, not infinite

Every public salon has passed documents and a human review. The map is curated on purpose.

Slots that cannot collide

Capacity lives in the database. Two thumbs cannot buy the last chair.

Money that behaves

Pay on UPI or card. Cancellations follow a published window. Refunds return to wallet — not a shrug.

Artists, not algorithms

You still choose the house. We just stop the 7pm scramble at the door.

Owners keep the room

Partners remain independent. We take a transparent commission and send the rest as payouts.

Timeline

How the house was built

  1. 2022

    The wait

A bridal trial overruns in Bilaspur. The sketch of slot-as-inventory begins on a café napkin.

  2. 2023

    First chairs

A handful of Bilaspur partners go live. Documents, hours, and the first honest Saturday.

  3. 2024

    Rails

Razorpay, wallet refunds, and a lock so two guests cannot buy the last colour slot.

  4. 2025

    Two cities

Raipur joins. Payouts become a rhythm instead of a negotiation.

  5. 2026

    The public house

This website, the app, and a marketplace that still refuses to look like generic SaaS.
